For inflatable play

To get the most fun and enjoyment from Party Spots Entertainment equipment please read the following guidelines prior to signing the Hire Agreement.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please follow the following

• No food, drink or chewing gum is allowed on the inflatable.
• All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the inflatable.
• No party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the inflatable.
• No smoking or barbeques near the inflatable.
• No climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls of the inflatable. This is DANGEROUS and is not allowed.
• A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.
• Always ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit the numbers according to the age and size of the children. Avoid large and small children from using the inflatable at the same time.
• No pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

• If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the hire period, switch the blower off at the mains.

• Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step, this is unsafe and could cause injury. The step is to assist users in getting on or off the inflatable.

• Ensure nobody with a history of back or neck problems use the inflatable, or any child who is feeling unwell.

• Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

• No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the inflatable.

• Ensure an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear.

• Age limit for the Childs Bouncy Castle is 11-years. Any child taller than the inside wall is not permitted to use it. Please ensure nobody over 11-years uses this equipment. No adults are to use The Childs Bouncy Castle. If this age limit is exceeded the castle needs to be safety tested and the cost will be the responsibility of the hirer.
• The safe amount of children on an inflatable at any one time is as follows: 15' x 15' = 8 max, 12' x 14' = 6 max, 11' x 15' = 6 max, 16' x 14' = 6 max, 15' x 17' slide = 6 max, 15' x 12' = 6 max, 12' x 12' = 6 max.

For Hire Equipment

• During the period of hire, The Hirer should keep any part of the equipment that is a framed structure or tent completely closed and secure while not in use.
• Do not allow anyone to climb on marquee framework.
• No one must remove or tamper with any, straps, clips or stakes.
• Do not attach awnings or any structure to marquee as it may put stress on framework.
• Keep all fires, barbecues, and anything hot (including lighting) away from the marquee.
• No cooking is allowed in or around the marquee. A charge for cleaning will be made if the equipment is soiled.
• Marquees are only temporary structures and must be vacated during heavy storms. Party Spots Entertainment is not, and never will be, responsible for the weather.
• The Hirer should not enter the marquee whilst it is being erected.

In The Event of Rain

The inflatable should not be used if the jumping area becomes wet. If it rains, and no shower cover has been fitted, the unit should not be used. A shower cover will only protect the unit from very light rain. If it rains heavily, the castle should be turned off and the electric blower and any extension should be disconnected and put undercover. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) should be dried with a towel.

Trouble Shooting

If the blower stops working, ensure all users disembark the inflatable immediately. The blower has a safety reset button, try pressing this, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or that nothing is obstructing the blower. If the blower overheats, or loses power, switch it off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, inform Party Spots Entertainment straight away.
